- Cox ‘s solution, as a shareholder and technology partner of Malta, the spin-off of X, the moonshot factory, has been the focus of its presentation.
Cox was present at the Seville Forum on Machinery for Decarbonisation, which took place at the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville, the organiser of the meeting, on 20 January 2025. Representing our company was Jesús Santos, general manager of Energía EPC.
Santos presented Cox’s vision and strategy to move towards the decarbonization of the planet, focusing on the agreement recently signed, by which it has become a shareholder of Malta, the spin-off of X, the moonshot factory and, at the same time, has become a partner of Malta Inc. Specifically, Santos explained the solution that Cox is working on for energy management and storage, as well as its enormous capacity to integrate with other existing technologies for decarbonization in the case of Malta.
This strategic agreement in our business plan offers a pioneering and innovative solution of which Santos highlighted that “the project we are working on at Cox, as Malta’s technology partner, is a flexible energy storage and management system, capable of meeting the needs of customers, the grid and the community and easily adapting to changes in the heat and electricity markets”.
Jesús Santos shared the stage with representatives of entities such as Bechtel, Siemens, EDP, Energynest, Repsol and Enel, among others. The Forum has brought together representatives of industry, public life and academia, with the main objective of presenting efficient, sustainable and profitable technological proposals for decarbonisation.
