Cox takes a step forward in its commitment to diversity

    • Cox has recently signed a collaboration agreement with the Adecco Foundation, a non-profit organization that facilitates the labor inclusion of people in vulnerable situations.

At Cox, a vertically integrated global water and energy utility, we are fully committed to diversity, equity and the inclusion of disadvantaged groups.  We are a company of people, open and global, without labels or barriers, without prejudice or bias, where all our actions are based on personal and professional respect for those around us, recognizing diversity as a competitive advantage.

In line with our diversity and equality policy, we have recently signed a collaboration agreement with the Adecco Foundation, a non-profit organization whose main objective is the insertion into the labor market of people who find it more difficult to access it, thus joining its employment program; focused on alleviating barriers, inequalities or discriminatory attitudes.

In Cox we are committed to equal conditions and opportunities and the talent of people. This is the origin of the commitment established with the Adecco Foundation, to promote social and labor inclusion of people who find it difficult to find a job according to their needs and abilities. It is also part of our commitment to society and the local communities in which we operate.

In the words of Pablo Barrasa, People Director at Cox, “We are very proud to be able to work together with our social partner, Fundación Adecco. At Cox, we start from the complete conviction that any person deserves the utmost consideration and dignity, regardless of their racial or ethnic origin, nationality, sexual orientation and gender identity, religion, opinion, age and ability. For this reason, we seek the support of those entities that share our vision, as is the case with the Adecco Foundation”.

To bet on diversity is also to bet on the most vulnerable people and, therefore, on a fairer and more balanced society. We count on you to keep moving forward and to be able to bring out the best version of our company
