Executive Chairman of Cox, he started his career in the real estate and construction sectors and in 2010 founded Grupo El Sol in Panama, focusing on mining, cement, infrastructure and energy. This company became the largest supplier of sand for the UTE (joint venture) responsible for the expansion of the Panama Canal. He later led the bidding and development phases of the largest photovoltaic project in Latin America at the time – Rainbow 50.
He has received several awards for his contribution to business in Spain, including the National Young Entrepreneur Award, 2018. He was also named one of the “100 Most influential Latinos Committed to Climate Action” and one of the “100 Most Creative Spaniards in Business” by Forbes magazine. He is currently a member of the International Council of the San Telmo Business School and President of the Advisory Council of the Scholas Foundation for Panama, Central America and the Caribbean.

Nacho Moreno joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer in September 2023. He was previously CEO of Credit Suisse’s Credit Bank Europe for the Iberian region. Prior to that, he spent 22 years at Barclays, most recently as Head of Investment Banking for Iberia. He also held several other senior positions at Barclays in leveraged finance, equity capital markets and debt capital markets with a focus on Southern Europe. He started his career at Deutsche Bank in 1998 and holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Law from Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE).

He joined the Company in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer, later transitioning to the role of Chief of Strategy & Corporate Development, where he leads both strategy and technology for Cox. Prior to joining the Company, he gained extensive experience in corporate and project finance at the Spanish Official Credit Institute (‘Instituto de Crédito Oficial’), Repsol and Deutsche Bank. His achievements include the successful financing and refinancing of projects totalling 1GWp. He holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Law from the University of Alicante.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the management and development of companies in the industrial, energy, infrastructure, and services sectors, with operations across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. He began his career at ABB, linked to the development of renewable energy projects, and later assumed management responsibilities at Grupo Cobra (ACS Group), where he participated in the development and execution of international water and energy infrastructure projects. He subsequently joined Acciona, where he served for several years as CEO of Acciona Industrial and, concurrently, Acciona Service, leading the global expansion of both divisions and the development of new business lines in sectors related to the energy transition and services.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Comillas Pontifical University (ICAI) and has completed postgraduate studies in financial management and executive development programs.

Chief Legal Officer of Cox. In addition to his role at the Company, he is the Managing Partner of Medina Cuadros Abogados, S.L., a professional legal services firm. He began his career in July 2000 in the finance department of Grupo Leche Pascual, S.A. Then transitioned to Medina Cuadros Lawyers, where he headed the Madrid office before taking on the role of Manager of the General Secretariat at Telefónica Internacional, S.A. His tenure at Telefónica also included a position as a lawyer for the Technical Secretariat of the General Secretariat and the Board of Directors. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Mr Medina Cuadros has contributed his expertise to various boards and foundations. He is a trustee of the Real Madrid Foundation and has previously served on the Board of Directors of Formula E Holdings and Amper, S.A. He holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE)

She has an international career that combines expertise in the financial sector and capital markets with strategic stakeholder communication. She began her career in investment banking, working in Equity Capital Markets at Merrill Lynch and later in institutional sales positions at Cheuvreux and N+1 Equities/Alantra. She subsequently focused her professional career on investor relations, joining Prisa and later Ferrovial. In her most recent role at Banco Santander, as Global Head of Investor Relations, she led teams across different countries and coordinated communication with analysts, institutional investors, and rating agencies. She also played a key role in preparing senior management and the board of directors for their engagement with capital markets.
She holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Master’s degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from I.E.B. (Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles), and an Executive MBA from IESE Business School.
Ignacio Uriarte Ayala

He has more than twenty years of international experience focused on institutional relations, multilateral cooperation, and geopolitical analysis, with experience across Europe and Latin America. Before joining Cox, he served as Director of Strategic Planning at the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) and developed his career in the institutional and political arena as a member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies, where he served on the Defense, Foreign Affairs, and International Cooperation committees. He also worked in political intelligence advisory, regulatory processes, and institutional strategy.

With more than two decades of experience in Human Resources and Labor Relations, he has developed his career primarily within industrial organizations with an international presence, specializing in talent management for technical profiles and water and energy infrastructure management. Throughout his career, he has led change management and corporate restructuring processes, driving organizational adaptation during periods of transformation and growth. He has worked directly with multidisciplinary global teams, actively participating across all key areas of the People function. In addition, his management scope includes global resources such as IT, Health and Safety, Quality and Environment, corporate procurement, facilities/real estate, and other support areas.
He holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Master’s degree in Labor Law and Labor Relations from the Garrigues Study Center, and is a professor in the Human Resources Master’s program at Instituto de Estudios Cajasol.

Partner of Exus Management Partners (Exus) and GenuX Power, a global renewable energy platform with offices in nine countries, managing 11GW of installed capacity, including 2.6GW in Mexico between wind and solar energy projects. Holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU in New York, and a bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance from ITESM in Mexico.
Prior to joining EXUS in 2019, he founded EIRA Capital, an investment platform focused on Energy and Infrastructure transactions in Mexico, and Latin America. He was also part of Australia’s Macquarie Group in Latin America, where he spent more than 7 years in the Macquarie Capital and Macquarie Funds divisions, working on fund capital raising, equity investments, asset management activities, as well as third party advisory roles on energy and infrastructure transactions in Mexico and Latin America. During his years at Macquarie, he also held board positions in the several investments made by Macquarie which covered energy, public private partnerships, roads, and telecom companies. In addition, his previous involvement at financial institutions include positions in the investment banking teams of Deutsche Bank’s M&A group in New York, and Citibank’s M&A group in Mexico.
Other former relevant positions include his role as independent member of the investment committee of the Instituto del Fondo Nacional de la Vivienda para los Trabajadores (Mexican mortgages and housing government agency).

Presidente Ejecutivo de Cox, tras iniciar su andadura profesional en el sector inmobiliario y de la construcción, en 2010 fundó Grupo El Sol en Panamá, especializado en operaciones de minería, cemento, infraestructuras y energía. Con el tiempo, la empresa se convertiría en el mayor proveedor de arena de la UTE responsable de la ampliación del canal de Panamá. Posteriormente, pasó a liderar las fases de oferta y desarrollo de Rainbow 50: el proyecto fotovoltaico de mayor envergadura ejecutado en América Latina hasta aquel momento.
Ha recibido varios galardones por su contribución al mundo empresarial en España, entre ellos el Premio del Certamen Nacional de Jóvenes Emprendedores 2018. También ha sido distinguido como uno de los «100 latinos más influyentes comprometidos con la acción climática» y uno de los «100 españoles más creativos del mundo de los negocios» según la revista Forbes. Actualmente, es miembro del Consejo Internacional de la San Telmo Business School y preside el Consejo Asesor de la Fundación Scholas para Panamá, Centroamérica y Caribe.
